ALEKSIAH KICKS OFF 2026 WITH ‘BULLSHIT, BABY’
New EP and Australian tour
coming this May
Following her biggest year to date, Adelaide’s beloved popstar aleksiah is back with her first track of 2026: “Bullshit, Baby!”. Staying true to her tongue-in-cheek pop sensibilities, “Bullshit, Baby!” is a sugar-coated takedown of bare-minimum behaviour, turning emotional burnout into an irresistible singalong. This release comes with the announcement of aleksiah’s third EP Good On Paper and an Australian headline tour, both coming this May.
With a tight bass groove and simmering percussion, tension builds as aleksiah’s resentment grows, exploding into a bold, anthemic chorus. Leaning into some country charm, “Bullshit, Baby!” sees aleksiah bid a fiery farewell to half-hearted romance.
She shares, “There seems to be an unintentional theme with putting curse words in my songs, but I think being in a relationship with someone that puts in no effort just makes you wanna call out someone’s “bullshit”. I wrote ‘Bullshit, Baby!’ about demanding respect and knowing your worth when you seem to find yourself in relationships with people that don’t really want to be there, which I think is somewhere we’ve all been before.
We had a lot of fun in the studio putting this track together and channelled some country twang so I hope that everyone that listens to it feels that fun, and maybe even feels encouraged to tell their toxic situationship to f off.”
aleksiah is bringing “Bullshit, Baby!” along with new tracks from her upcoming EP to Perth, Brisbane,Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne this May. She just finished supporting UK singer-songwriter Maisie Peters on her Australian tour and is playing Lime Cordiale’s fully off-grid Lime Green Festival in April.
Bringing the ‘cry about it tour’ to Australia, Europe and the UK in 2025, aleksiah took her sophomore EP to the far corners of the globe. Continuing to gain global recognition, aleksiah opened for the likes of Kelsea Ballerini (US), Fickle Friends (UK), Midnight Til Morning (US) and Beth McCarthy (UK) last year as well as performing at at the renowned Primavera Pro in Barcelona, Spain.
Since dropping her debut single “Fern” in 2022, now sitting at 1.7 million Spotify streams, aleksiah has had eight tracks added to full triple j rotation. Adding to the love, aleksiah ranked #9 on triple j Unearthed and #29 on triple j’s most-played artists list of 2025, also making her Hottest 200 debut with “Clothes Off” sitting at #169.
2025 saw aleksiah reach a new level of industry recognition, scoring editorial features in Rolling Stone Australia and Vogue. Released in July, her sophomore EP cry about itbrought us viral hits “Clothes Off” and “The Hit”, whichquickly earned spots amongst her top singles. aleksiah’s latest releases “Punch Drunk Love” and “Faker” have kept fans and industry alike eagerly awaiting her next move.
