The Hives are the best live band in the world and they know it. There was no manufactured humility Saturday night as they made their triumphant return to Australia nearly a decade after their last visit. Australian punk rockers ‘Split System’ ran a blistering set of raucous tunes in support, capably engaging in short, fast, loud exposure therapy, preparing the crowd for the oncoming event.

The anti-colonial Irish hip-hop group, Kneecap, came all the way from Belfast to absolutely smash up Melbourne’s stage at 177 Russel St. They are loudly anti-colonial and Pro Palestine; they aren’t here to fuck around.
Beyond the Valley 2024: Lights, Music and Pure Euphoria
‘Beyond the Valley’ went over and beyond this year to ensure that patrons had one of the most enjoyable experiences in a Victorian festival ever. Supplying a large range of food vans, some amazing relaxation places, and plenty of store’s supplying to everyone’s needs, where good times are impossible not to have.

The lights dimmed, and out came the four loves of my life: Ashton (and his majestic mane), Caleb, Kieran, and Peppa. The opening notes of Skin filled the room, and I was immediately overcome with gratitude.

The show left me with an unexpected sense of patriotism. Dom Dolla is a true Aussie icon, and seeing his artistry unfold live filled me with pride. For a night that promised dance-floor euphoria, Dom delivered and then some.
