The release of Julia Wallace’s debut EP is as arresting as it is subtly powerful. The EP speaks through, and to, the mental loops humans can exist in. These loops are displayed lyrically through each track, like Wallace’s mind is in conversation with itself.

Brisbane punk/metalcore band, Stepson, are releasing their debut album, Help Me, Help You, on the 26th of March. This is definitely one you won’t want to miss! Featuring eleven songs, their album combines new styles of music with the familiarity of their earlier EPs.

Not my usual review- you know me, I like the acoustic-y, lullaby type of music that puts my heart into a state. These Cairns boys, however, are killing it right now! The album BEAUTY IN DEATH is out now so if you haven’t yet, get yourselves ready!

After a close call with Melbourne’s swift five-day lockdown, Ballarat rock duo, Travalley tore up the Leadbeater Hotel in Richmond last Saturday night.

It was a relief to see the backline filled and mics setup for the headliner, Matt Kopp AKA Running Touch. He had been a festival favourite throughout 2019 and was well known for his stage presence and overall consistent performance. A year of rest didn’t dampen his talents. The graphics for the show was well curated, amplifying the energy he was presenting on stage.
